Redemption begins where Legacy left off. After finding out that their sons live and that they have been betrayed by those they loved most in the world, Katrina, Damien and the rest of the Five set about to make sure no one will ever threaten their children again.

I've been following this series for about a year and a half. I started out with 5 books and then the 6th was released shortly after. I was coming back every so often to check and see if the series had more books, and kept getting nothing. After a while I gave up, its been a year since... and I finally came back and BAM, two more books have been added (seven and eight.) So, I purchased them and skimmed the reviews on number eight. A reviewer stated- 'There would be a 9th book' at some point! I'm super excited to know that the series doesn't end, yet!As you have probably gathered. I'm not sure how many Elizabeth Loraine is going to write. I wish that I knew but she also stated at the end of this one, that she often (as a reader) wonders what happens next in other series. This makes me wonder how many more can their possibly be or how she will end this. I'm hoping that their will be a HEA (HEA = Happily Ever After) when its all said and done.
*****SPOILERS***** (They are minor)
In this Katrina, Kate, El, Rosa and Letta along with Damien and Tao are trying to put together the puzzle pieces that were lost in Legacy. It also picks up were Legacy stopped. They realize that they can't trust anyone! Everyone is a suspect! There is many twists and turns in this plot that weave a whole. The books ends with a cliffhanger.
I'm so pulling for "The Five" and "The Six" to become one, finally find world peace. The love triangle with Quinn-Katrina-Damien needs to come to an end already. I'm totes pulling for Quinn, since he is actually the father. To me, Damien is irredeemable at this point. Or more so, from the previous books.

I really enjoy reading this series. As soon as you start reading it is like no stop and you just cant put the book down. Its not like other vampire books. It has other magical creatures in to like elves, witches, wizards, and much more.
Elizabeth Loraine has done it again adding to the Royal Blood Chronicles story line once again!! Each story keeps you wanting more and waiting for the next book to be released. Redemption brings some heartache and some joy and a new hope that the Protectors and the 6 boys will once agan bring peace to all the races. Im hoping that all the mothers and fathers find some common ground and love again, or new relationships grow and new stories begin. Waiting patiently...
I am sad it is over! This was a remarkable journey and I am glad I was able to be a part of it. It is always sad when a good series is finished. You feel like part of your "family" is gone.
I sure hope there will be a continuation of this story and I will be eagerly awaiting its return.
Getting to know you, makes my heart warm that they can have this time, after missing out on so much. There are still a lot of secrets, and deception around them. Lots of enemies too.
This has been a delightful series, however, I found this last book a little difficult to get into. To flash forward fifteen years is not easy to digest and certainly couldn't be easy to write either. It all worked very well though and I had no complaints. The characters were just as delightful, along with the new ones that are added. Ms Loraine has a great imagination and a remarkable way of getting you right in the middle of the picture. I look forward to anything new she might add.
REDEMPTION picks up exactly where the last installment of the Royal Blood Chronicles left off. Katrina and the boys are safe......for a moment. Of course that never lasts for long. First the line everything is not as it seems is key here. There are many twists and turns similar to being on a roller coaster! Damien is as yummy as ever and back to his normal charming self. I have to say I was surprised to see him be an awesome dad like he is turning out to be! He is showing all the boys not just his, the responsibilities and knowledge to lead even in times of crisis. I love seeing Marcella back as well. She's all grown up now and turned out to be quite the gifted young lady. The bad part about Redemption is nothing....or maybe because I have to wait a few months on the next one.
From the minute you start reading the first word, you are brought right back into this wonderful world were we left off.
Katrina has proved herself time and time again to be such a strong, loving, loyal leader of the five, it makes my heart feel so good that she can be a great role model.Even as a vampire she has morals, compassion, for all beings.
There sons who they have been reunited with have all there parents strong suites, and my heart bleeds for the fathers. They lost there sons and there wives also. Knowing they were alive and not being part of there lives was just as heart wrenching for them.
We lost 2 Queens, Toa lost his mother and eventually the love of his life, Katrina. Cain has also lost his love. The lesson from this book is to remember that everday is a gift, because we are not promised happiness tomorrow.
Elizabeth Loraine has me hooked on both her series, and I can't wait for the next book in either one....Thanks, ELIZABETHRedemption - Book 7 (a Royal Blood Chronicle)
